Born and raised in dayton ohio, now residing in phoenix arizona (but visits home frequently:)), Griffin G-child fell in love with hip hop music at the tender age of 6. "the first rap song i remember hearing was LLCOOL J's I'M BAD". " From that point on i fell deeply in love with rap music". In 1988, at the age of ten, Griffin G-Child wrote his first rap. From that point on he ventured off into poetry by 5th grade of elemetary school. He kept improving all the way through high school (PATTERSON CO-OP CLASS OF 1997!!) and beyond. Griffin G-child grew up in a christian house hold with a mother and father who were both preachers in the church. " i really couldnt listen to rap music in the house so i used to keep a shoe box under my bed and i would sneak and listen to music on my walkman lol" he recalls. by year 1999 Griffin G-child began taking a serious approach to making music obtaining tow pieces of equipment- a BOSS DR5 drum machine and a ROLAND XP-10 keyboard. he began recording songs on a TASCAM 4 track recorder.Griffin G-Child was heavily influenced by outkast, jackson 5, a tribe called quest,ras kas, nas and raekwon. after honing his skills he released his first project entitled "DAYTON OHIO INTO WORLD" on cassette.

by the year 2001 Griffin G-Child released his first CD album entitled "MIDWESTERN HEMISPHERIC TRAVELS". that project was followed by "MHT UNDERGROUND" in 2002. the year 2006 brought a collaboration with Johnthan "P-Nut" Piersoll entitled "BLACK BROKE HOPELESS". that album was followed up by "BLACK BROKE HOPELESS 2010".

the year is now 2016. Griffin G-Child has rededicated himself to his christian roots releasing the certified classic double album collection entitled "MOONBASE CHRONICLES". " I wanted to give my all and throw the kitchen sink at the music industry" he says. the album is 25 songs deep with 12 songs on disc 1 and 13 songs on disc 2.
