Waka Flocka has some words for JI’m Jones and his comments that being a rapper is ”more dangerous” than being a soldier in Iraq. Waka seems to thinking that saying rap is dangerous is actually more dangerous than hip hop itself.

Waka set the record straight on Instagram and told people they need to stop pushing that narrative. “Please stop saying rap is dangerous. Y’all niggas is falling into the trap. Because if Hip Hop is dangerous, they’re gonna stop booking shows … stop making Hip Hop popular. What are y’all doing, bro? Hip Hop ain’t dangerous … Hip Hop is beautiful, bro. To be a gangbanger in rap is dangerous. To be a drug dealer in rap is dangerous. To be anything that’s negative is dangerous. “What the fuck y’all talkin’ bout, bro? Stop saying Hip Hop is dangerous. Y’all folks really about to cut your fuckin’ hustle out. Fool ass niggas, man. Y’all need to stop saying that shit. On god, bro.”
While Hip Hop has seen its share of murder it’s nothing compared to the the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan which have killed thousands of U.S soldiers. An Iraq war vet even spoke out, “Here’s some facts, my unit which fought in Iraq 2004 lost more Marines in two months than ‘rappers’ in the past 3 years. Keep talking but there is zero comparison.”
