Slim 400 is expected to make a full recovery after surviving getting shot nine times on Friday, June 28th 2019. The YG affiliated rapper was shot in Compton and rushed into surgery at St. Francis Medical Center. He was shot in his lower and upper back, the top of his head and his jaw. On the night of the incident, Slim 400 was on the phone with Ice Watar business partner Mud Dollaz. Mud said the last thing he heard was Slim 400 say "Oh shit!" Then Mud heard gunshots and a woman screaming and telling Slim 400 to hold his head up. Multiple masked gunmen reportedly opened fire on Slim 400 from a moving vehicle. They jumped out of the black car and continued the attack.
