Nicki Minaj said she is retiring but that doesn’t mean she is ready to call it quits quite yet. She spoke in an exclusive interview with Billboard and the Queen rapper talked about the past 12 months, getting married to Kenneth Petty and the drop of her Fendi collection. But everyone is focusing on the rap retirement comments.
Nicki said she couldn't see herself stepping away completely after talking about stepping away from music. “I love music and interacting with fans, so I can’t really see taking myself completely away,” she said in the interview. “But I want to be open to other possibilities in my life. I do believe it is important to become a woman outside of the magnifying glass. I have to make sure that I’m well-rounded as a human being.” Do you think she would ever retire for good?
