Lil Nas X Sets Hip Hop Record

The number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 still belongs to Lil Nas X with some help from Billy Ray Cyrus. It's now week 13 of "Old Town Road" being at the top of the charts and that set a record, the longest reign for a Hip Hop song. Former number one songs comes from Wiz Khalifa ("See You Again"), The Black Eyed Peas ("Boom Boom Pow"), and Eminem ("Lose Yourself") who all spent 12 weeks at the peak position.

Besides making headlines at the end of pride week by declaring his sexual identity to the world, he also added two more Top 40 songs to his catalogue. The sandwich named "Panini" debuted at #16 and "Rodeo" featuring Cardi B debuted at #22 can both be found on his 7 EP which opened at #2 on the Billboard 200.
