Jay-Z has added another job title to his impressive resume. Cannabis company Caliva told the world that Hov has joined its company and been name Chief Brand Strategist on Tuesday (July 9). "Anything I do, I want to do correctly and at the highest level,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “With all the potential in the cannabis industry, Caliva’s expertise and ethos make them the best partners for this endeavor. We want to create something amazing, have fun in the process, do good and bring people along the way.”
JAY-Z’s role entails developing creative strategies, outreach plans plus improving social justice problems to streamline weed legalization. This will include helping people who served time in prison for marijuana-related incidents through “advocacy, job training and overall employee and workforce development.” Jay-Z joins an expanding list of rappers who have ventured into the cannabis business. Other noteworthy rappers involved in the marijuana business include Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, Action Bronson and 2 Chainz.
