Cardi B kept her momentum going with a huge win last night, receiving the award for Album Of The Year at the 2019 BET Awards. Anderson .Paak handed the award to the current Queen of Hip Hop and she was all smiles as she accepted it. The competition might make some people want a recount on the voting but if anything it just goes to show how impactful she has been since bursting onto the scene a short time ago. Astroworld, Championships, Ella Mai, and Everything Is Love were all up for consideration but Invasion of Privacy took the trophy.
The 2019 BET Awards also marked the first time Childish Gambino won a BET Award (Video Of The Year) and it was for his most impactful video ever, "This Is America". The night was full of tremendous performances and surprises as always and didn't disappoint.
