The actress who played Joi in 1995's Friday, Paula Jai Parker, let it slip while doing an interview with VladTV. While talking to DJ Vlad about building and maintaining relationships with people in the entertainment industry, the familiar actress told us all she saw Diddy getting beatdown in the past. "I met Puffy, he was getting beat up!” she said while smiling. “But we love Puffy. I be like, ‘Leave Puffy alone! I be the first one.”
She added, “Oops,” after she was asked about Diddy getting beat up in the past. “I thought everybody knew, I didn’t know people didn’t know. Sorry Puffy.” Parker explained why she didn't do any of the sequels to Friday as well as why she turned down a part in The Players Club earlier in the interview.
