We are 61 days away from the 6th Annual Arizona Hip Hop Festival and as we get closer to our favorite time of the year and we wanted to highlight some artists you should check out when the biggest Hip Hop event in Arizona commences for the sixth year in a row. BenFly is an artist you don’t want to miss.
BenFly is an artist that represents his home to the fullest but is always on the move Besides being the originator of the #AZWayTooActive movement he is finding ways to get that movement recognized outside of home state. He is currently getting ready to release his new upcoming EP “G$MF” in the fall of 2019. Having recently returned from St. Louis where he was working and shooting a video for his popular single “On Me” with a St. Louis’ star on the rise and Trey Songz protege, Junior. His fly style and determined mentality and motivational music connect with the hustle in everyone that hears it. With his two singles “On Me” and “Sipping Casa” spending time getting spun by DJs across the city in the hottest clubs in Old Town Scottsdale, Downtown Phoenix and Mill Ave, Tempe. If you’ve been to one of the hottest strip clubs in the city, chances are you‘ve heard the songs there too. His debut album, “BenFly”, released earlier in the year to an overwhelmingly positive response. His videos for “Ben Working” and “Hard As Hell”, that were both released this year, were filmed by some of AZ’s best videographers Sammy Black and Kor Capital.
