6th Annual Artist Spotlight Vol. 6 - Mic Myers

We are 71 days away from the 6th Annual Arizona Hip Hop Festival and everyone is getting ready for their favorite time of the year and we wanted to highlight some artists you should check out when the biggest Hip Hop event in Arizona commences for the sixth year in a row. The next artist you have to know about this year is Mic Myers.

The Arizona Hip Hop community recognize his name quickly. His face, name, or mask has popped up in countless venues and videos, collaborations and consultations, stations and stages. From his moniker you would assume Mic Myers might be about the macabre and sinister. He is anything but that. Much like the person beneath the mask of the John Carpenter created psychopath, there's something more beneath the surface of what you get when you're introduced to Mic Myers. Besides managing the main stage this year he is also a headlining artist. His performance will have a few staples of a Mic Myers performance like great music (like his current collaboration with Kirsin, "Drippin" and guest appearances will abound. But he has something special in store. Besides that there will be retro 3-D glasses available so you can enjoy a very unique 3-D show that will be broadcasted on giant television screens inside of The Pressroom. Fans of his will remember the concept from his album The White Horse, which was the first album to be accompanied by retro 3-D videos for every track.

He has transformed from a promising up and comer to a respected veteran of the Arizona Hip Hop scene. He has helped numerous artists with their development from consulting on branding, licensing, publishing rights, creative direction and production, and many more fields. If you're an artist that needs help getting over that next hurdle or you don't know what direction you're headed then you got to go see Mic Myers. From his finger on the pulse music delivered with a classic lyrical Hip Hop flair, sponsored leathers and high quality threads to his affiliations with top tier brands throughout Arizona; you wont find an artist or person that walks, talks, creates and carries themselves like Mic Myers. Don't miss his one of a kind performance this year.
