6th Annual Artist Spotlight Vol. 23 - The Desert Baby

Can you believe that we are only 19 days until the 6th Annual Arizona Hip Hop Festival? That means everyone is looking at the lineups and trying to decide which artists to catch live. We wanted to help highlight some artists you should check out when the biggest Hip Hop event in Arizona commences for the sixth year in a row. The Desert Baby is a headliner you can’t miss this year.

Arizona loves The Desert Baby and the feeling is mutual. Growing up with gangs being a heavy influence in his life, The Desert Baby found himself in prison where he adjusted some his thought processes and came back home after six years with a new mindset. He had made music growing up but never took is seriously enough to consider it as a real option for his future. Once he got out he channeled all of his negative energy, thoughts and feelings towards music. He has used the microphone a therapist and his fans are commiserating with his story. He speaks only his truths and has gained respect and admiration from everyone he has come in contact with in the process. Having an artist like Slim 400 collaborate with you is proof enough that you’re clout is verified. His music hits you in a way that you can only get from an artist that has lived their lyrics. Check out his songs “No Help Out” and ”Arizona My Section, Pt.2” for proof that he can create honest music that connects thru artistry and integrity. Growing up in a large family with 11 siblings and representing Arizona harder than maybe any artist ever has, The Desert Baby has taken his family first mentality and spread it to his home state. Do not miss his headlining performance this year at the 6th Annual Arizona Hip Hop Festival.
