6th Annual Artist Spotlight Vol. 17 - Pariah Pete

We are only 27 days from the 6th Annual Arizona Hip Hop Festival. That means everyone is looking at the lineups and trying to decide which artists to catch live. We wanted to highlight some artists you should check out when the biggest Hip Hop event in Arizona commences for the sixth year in a row. We are proud to present an artist that should be on your radar, Pariah Pete.

Pariah Pete might be exactly what you don’t expect. His story is unique in a way that helped pave the way for this artist on the rise that has the entire Arizona Hip Hop scene buzzing right now. His family hails from Warsaw, Poland and he is the first of them to be born in the U.S. With a start like that it’s easy to see how you might get few things wrong about Pariah Pete. He got his start as a solo act but quickly developed the rap group 20 Pounds as a way to help cultivate his drive and ambitions. He has now gone into a solo career again and has parlayed the experience into having a stellar solo delivery and game plan. His latest project Mercury has history behind it and when you take a look at that history it’s obvious why people are connecting with his sound. Inspired by his first car in high school and the drunk driver that changed everything for him. Take a listen, you wont be disappointed when you get insight into his struggles with love, life and the inevitable changes. Having sold out shows at The Rebel Lounge, Pub Rock, Crescent Ballroom & 51 West, it’s clear to see that Pariah Pete has built a real and ravenous following in Arizona. Don’t miss his headlining performance this year at the 6th Annual Arizona Hip Hop Festival.
