6th Annual Artist Spotlight Vol. 16 - Will Claye

We are only 29 days from the 6th Annual Arizona Hip Hop Festival. That means everyone is scanning the lineups and trying to decide which artists to catch live. We wanted to highlight some artists you should check out when the biggest Hip Hop event in Arizona commences for the sixth year in a row. We are proud to present an artist you need to check out, Will Claye.

Will Claye is a track and field star who competes in the long jump and triple jump. He won a bronze medal in 2011 World Championships in Athletics and the gold medals at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships and 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships. In his Olympic debut at the 2012 Summer Olympics he won a bronze medal in long jump and a silver medal in triple jump. He got another silver medal in the triple jump four years later. His personal best of 18.14 m (59 ft 6 in), set at the Jim Bush Southern California USATF Championships on June 29, 2019 ranks him as the No. 3 triple jumper of all time. To say he has a strong mindset is putting it lightly. He brings a world class work ethic and drive to his music and has the talent to live up to his athletic achievements. I could just drop a link to his song “IDGAF” with YG & Mitch and that would speak for itself with over 8 million plays on Spotify alone. His talent is undeniable but his determination is what sets him apart from his peers. YG took notice, so should you. Don’t miss his headlining performance this year at the 6th Annual Arizona Hip Hop Festival.
